人や風景。出会いはすごい確率で、それはどれも通り過ぎてゆく。写真はその記憶を記録するもの。
だから写真ではその出会いをとても注意深く観察することができる。
その出会いの中でとくに惹かれるものは、人や文化を超えて存在するもの。その記憶を寄せ集める事で、写真を通して「ユートピア」（どこでも無い場所）を見たいと思う。また、その反対の、人や文化の上に存在するものも見つめることで、その美しさを発見して記憶していきたいと思う。
観察して、美しさを見つけて、それを切り取る事。切り取られた記憶の向こうに見えてくるものが、写真にしかできない表現の魅力だと感じている。

People and sceneries. All the encounters happen by unbelievable probability, and they all pass by. Photography is keeping the experiences and memories. So that photography enables me to carefully observe the encounters.
Of all the encounters, I am especially fascinated by things which exist beyond the people and cultures. By collecting those memories, I would like to see "eutopia" -nowhere- through the pictures. To the contrary, I would like to find and memorize the beauty comes from people and culture, by careful observation.
Observing encounters, finding the beauty in it and cropping it. I believe the thing you can see through the picture is the most fascinating creation that only photography can have, and that is what I want to see.
